Capcom’s upcoming Resident Evil Village – aka Resident Evil 8 – will feature plenty of side characters that play an important role in the game, according to horror game leaker Dusk Golem.
Resident Evil Village Includes A Lot Of Side Characters
Asked on Twitter if the game will feature side characters similar to Tango Gameworks’ The Evil Within 2, he replied:
Like TEW2? Not like that. But there is a lot of side characters in RE8 and the Villagers play a much bigger role than the people of a place usually do in a RE game. The people of the Village are important to RE8, and a number of them are just “normal” people.
Dusk Golem has been sharing a ton of information on Resident Evil 8 as of late, although keep in mind that nothing has been confirmed by Capcom yet. Among the details he shared include details on how long the game has been in development for as well as claims that the horror sequel will likely be released in Q2 2021.
Resident Evil Village is scheduled for release on PS5, PC and Xbox Series X in 2021.
