Here’s a bit of comedy to round off the PSU week – Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has plastered Dublin newspapers the Metro and Herald AM with Resistance 2 ads masquerading as front-page stories – the headline is "America Under Attack!" Kotaku has a few scans for your amusement.
The ads also feature parodic editorials on the Chimeran threat and an address from the President of the United States. Well done, marketing chaps – that’s what we call earning your keep.
Resistance 2 is out today in Europe. Insomniac’s biggest shooter yet won critical acclaim when it hit America earlier in the month, which bodes well for its retail performance overseas. PSU gave the game a thoroughly well-deserved 8.5 out of 10.
