Housemarque News PS5 Returnal Returnal Saves

Returnal Developer Has Yet To Figure Out A Solution To The Game’s Lack Of Saves

Housemarque has revealed that still hasn’t quite figured out a process to incorporate mid-run sales into the critically acclaimed PS5 title, Returnal.

Returnal does not currently allow users to save their progress during the middle of gameplay, given its nature as a roguelike experience. However, the community soon started requesting the feature be implemented, and Housemarque later acknowledged the feedback without saying much more.

Now however, speaking with Axios Gaming, the game’s marketing director, Mikael Havari, commented, “We understand that there are some systems in place that are currently a hindering factor,” adding, “but currently, we just don’t know exactly what it is. So it’s very difficult to announce anything, because I think there’s a lot of different people looking for different things.”
