A new short film published on PlayStation’s YouTube channel delves into the Creative Process behind Returnal with the game’s Director.
The film also forms another part of the Housecast Podcast and gives us some night into the decisions made as the team planned and built the game.
As we explore the Finnish forests, the film offers a few nice insights and tries to mirror the experience of Selene in-game. We get some more insight into the narrative, which explains some of the lingering questions we and others have had. Creature designs, the horror aspects, and more are also touched on.

Returnal has been out for almost a month now and has been a hit. We loved the game in our review and a speedrunner has just beaten the game in 5 minutes.
