Writing on Twitter, Housemarque thanked the team for their help in finishing the game and said that “we can’t wait to have this out soon and for every player out there to experience the planet of Atropos.”
This is great news and should ensure that the studio has enough time to implement big fixes for the day one patch, which will ensure we all have the best experience when the game launches.
The latest trailer for Returnal focused on the game’s story and offered insights into Selene’s life that we haven’t quite deciphered yet. The game will also have a multiplayer feature that seems a whole lot like Dark Souls.
Returnal releases for PS5 on April 30, 2021.
