NACON has announced the Revolution 5 Unlimited premium controller for PS5 and PC, which is available from today at the company’s official website.
This latest device builds on the success of the Revolution range since 2016, which has become a favour of competitive and professional players worldwide. The press blurb adds that the Revolution 5 Unlimited is the “culmination of years of research and continues feedback from the esports community and the most demanding competitive players.” As such, this pad includes a number of hardware innovations, including a built-in controller screen — a first for an officially licensed PS5 controller — which offers “instant adjustments without ever leaving the game.”
Elsewhere, users can tinker with audio mixing, joystick sensitivity, shortcut mapping, and manage controller system settings on the fly, while the TMR magnetic technology at the heart of the device improves reliability significantly, while offering “surgical precision and reduced power consumption.”
Yannick Allaert, NACON ‘s Director of Accessories, commented, “With the Revolution 5 Unlimited, NACON demonstrates its ability to set new standards in the competitive gaming peripherals segment. By combining a built-in control screen and TMR technology on an officially licensed PlayStation asymmetric controller, we are giving competitive and demanding players a state-of-the-art instrument, backed by years of expertise within the Group.”
The Revolution 5 Unlimited ships with comprehensive accessories, a storage case and charging dock (a first for a NACON officially licensed PS5 pad), allowing owners tor charge and connect gear conveniently in one place. The pad also includes micro-switch action buttons, Tigger Blockers, and numerous remappable shortcut buttons.
NACON has confirmed a price point of $229.99/£179.99 for the Revolution 5 Unlimited.
