SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio have announced that the RGG Summit 2025 will take place on September 24, 2025 at 12.00 JST, and will be followed by RGG Direct.
Details are being kept under wraps on the RGG Summit 2025 right now, although you can expect the latest information on the Like A Dragon series and other in-development projects. RGG Direct will follow up on the announcements made in the summit, delving into further details.

One of the games that Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio is working on right now is a new Virtua Fighter title for SEGA, which as evidenced by early footage, is looking stunning from a visual point of view.
Speaking at EVO 2025, RGG Studio’s Riichiro Yamada revealed that there’s no current plans to include any guest characters from other SEGA properties in the new Virtua Fighter, although that made change down the line. He also revealed that the developer is putting a major emphasis on narrative for this new instalment in the franchise, as this was one area that has been lacking in Virtua Fighter.
Beyond Virtua Fighter, RGG Studio is also working on an ambitious-looking title known as Stranger of Heaven, previously known as Project Century, which takes place in 1943 (or at least, it shifts from 1915 to 1943 for as-yet unknown reasons; we don’t really know much about the game yet), and has already impressed with a moody debut trailer.
