Riders Republic is a new online multiplayer extreme sports game that is the second Ubisoft game expected to arrive in September to be delayed today (July 16), as the publisher/developer announced on their website through a blog post that we’ll have to wait a little longer to get our hands on Riders Republic, namely October 28, 2021.
The announcement cites that the team will use this time to tweak and clean up the game to polish it further for launch. After Cyberpunk 2077’s disastrous launch in late 2020, it seems more and more developers and publishers would just give a game more time rather than risk their own version of what CD Projekt Red is currently facing.
You can read the announcement for yourself here:
“To ensure we can deliver the best game for all players, we’ve made the tough decision to delay our release date from September 2 to October 28. This will give us more time to fine tune the experience and give you another chance to jump in before launch and provide feedback.”
At least we won’t have to wait as long as we will for Rainbow Six Extraction, which was delayed all the way out into next year.
