Well this is unexpected. WayForward and Arc Systems Works has confirmed that its sublime side-scrolling brawler, River City Girls, will release on PS5 sometime in the near future.
There will also be a physical version of River City Girls on PS5 to compliment physical editions of the game on other platforms.
Though no details have been provided regarding the sorts of PS5 enhancements that players can expect, a bump in resolution and near instant loading times both seem like a safe bet.
