Rocksmith 2014 Edition announced for PS4, features 1080p visuals and more

Rocksmith 2014 Edition will hit PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in the U.K. exclusively through Amazon on November 7, Ubisoft has announced.

The next-generation version of the critically acclaimed music simulation title, which allows users to learn how to play guitar using a real instrument, will boast several new features over its last-gen counterpart, including Remote Play and 1080p visuals.

Furthermore, games can now capture and share their musical accomplishments thanks to the PS4 and Xbox One’s multimedia functions, allowing you to showcase your talents with other Rocksmith players.

Rocksmith 2014 Edition ships with over 50 tracks, and players can transfer existing DLC from the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game over to their new consoles at no extra cost.

According to Ubisoft’s figures, over two million consumers have already picked up Rocksmith and learned how to play both guitar and bass.
