West of Dead, which stars actor Ron Perlman, is has been given a PS4 release date window of August 2020.
The date was announced today at The Guerilla Collective’s first showcase. The game is a twin-stick shooter from Raw Fury and Upstream Arcade. Taking place in the grim world of Purgatory, you move from cover to cover with attempting to take down enemies who are roaming around the ever-changing procedurally generated hunting grounds.
The game has received multiple betas on PC and Xbox One. Fans have been quite positive on the game, highlighting its slow but tactical gameplay. However, they have raised concerns that it is a tad too derivative from other twin-stick shooters and action games.

West of Dead was announced back at November’s Inside Xbox event, alongside a number of other announcements. However, this is the first time the game has been properly showcased since then. This is the second game from Upstream Arcade, with the studio previously releasing Deadbeat Heroes back in 2017.
