Developer Toys For Bob is reportedly working on a new instalment in the much-loved Crash Bandicoot franchise, according to journalist Jez Cordon.
Speaking on the Windows Central Xbox Chaturdays podcast, Cordon indicted that he’s in-the-know about a new Crash Bandicoot game from the studio, who worked on the critically acclaimed Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time.
One of the podcast guests, Rand al Thor, made the suggestion that Toys for Bob is working on a new Crash game that could be announced at the Xbox & Bethesda showcase. In response, Corden added, “Where did you get that info Rand? I wasn’t supposed to leak that,” suggesting it’s authentic.

Toys for Bob was reportedly staffing up for non-Call of Duty projects late last year, following news that the company had been repositioned as as support studio for the multi-million selling first-person shooter franchise.
The Crash Bandicoot franchise was brought back in 2017 after a long hiatus in the shape of Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy, which remastered all three PSOne entries in the original trilogy.
