GamAlive reports that Sony’s PlayStation Vita will be released in Japan on November 12.
According to the site, global press outlets will apparently receive Vita units by that date, and notes the device will hit western regions in March 2012 – just before Sony’s fiscal year wraps.
While these reports are as of yet unconfirmed, it’s worth noting that the Tokyo Game Show is just around the corner, so we’re sure to hear more details on Vita’s Japanese launch during the event.
Furthermore, Sony will be lifting the wraps off 18 previously-unannounced Vita games at the show, so those of you looking forward to the new handheld will have plenty to tuck into come September 15.
Stay tuned.
