According to a report on Eurogamer, the long-rumored Team ICO Collection for PlayStation 3 is due to be released some time next spring and will retail in the UK for around £24.99.
Sources close to the website have said that the game will be available for pre-order in UK territories within the next few days, following news that the title cropped up on U.S. retailer Walmart’s website over the weekend.
For those unaware, the collection will feature HD revamps of classic PS2 titles ICO and Shadow of the Colossus, and follows in the footsteps of Sony’s previous compilation release, the God of War Collection.
Sony has yet to officially announce the compilation, though Worldwide Studios boss Shuei Yoshida previously said that the platform holder is “very aware” of the demand for such a release among consumers.
With the Tokyo Game Show kicking off this Thursday, it wouldn’t be too much of a surprise to see the Team ICO Collection get a formal reveal at the event. Stay tuned for more info as it breaks.
