Ubisoft’s long-tumored third instalment in The Crew series is going to be named The Crew Motorfest, according to new info uncovered by Dataminers.
According to a report on Insider Gaming, The Crew Motorfest, which is known internally as Project Orlando, was originally conceived as DLC for The Crew 2, but development expanded into something bigger so it’s now a game of its own. The site also received images of the Motorfest logo displayed throughout the game, such as on billboard and registration plates.
The Crew Motorfest will reportedly run on a new game engine and the images (which are not being released to the public) reveal the game will take place on the Hawaii island of Oahu.
Ubisoft hasn’t officially announced The Crew Motorfest yet, but it has said that it will be launch a “yet-to-be-announced major IP” in fiscal year 2024, which is believed to be the next chapter in The Crew franchise. A reveal could happen as early as next week, but we’ll have to wait and see.
