An image of what could be the main character for Ubisoft‘s upcoming Assassin’s Creed Codename Red has appeared on the LInkedIn profile of writer Pierre Boudreau.
The character in question features the iconic Assassin’s cowl and is standing in front of a Japanese-style castle. As we already know, Assassin’s Creed Codename Red takes place in Japan, with the setting having been long-requested by fans for a number of years.
There’s no confirmation from Ubisoft yet that the character art is indeed from the new Assassin’s Creed game, but it’s still a tantalising glimpse nonetheless, as we’ve seen next to nothing on the game since its announcement.
Back in September it was reported that Assassin’s Creed Codename Red was in a playable state and that we’ll see a proper look at the project in early 2024. While Ubisoft is keeping details close to its chest right now, it is believed the game will feature two characters: a male Samurai and a female Shinobi.
