Rumour – Assassin’s Creed Red Is In Fully Playable State, More Details Due In Early 2024

According to Insider Gaming, Assassin’s Creed Red is currently in a full playable state and that we can expect an official update on the game in early 2024.

The site reports that the Japan-set adventurer is currently penciled in for a Holiday 2024 release window, although it warns that a delay may be possible given Ubisoft’s tendency to postpone some of its major games recently.

In terms of playable characters, the report reiterates that Assassin’s Creed Red features a male and Samurai and a female Shinobi. According to the Insider Gaming report, the Samurai is an African refugee who was taught in the ways of the Creed, and is believed to be based on the first African Samurai, Yasuke. The female is supposedly a lot more agile than the Samurai, although further info is being kept under wraps.
