Bluepoint Games has been quietly working away on its next project for some time now, and while no one knows what’s cooking at the developer, journalist Jeff Grubb has claimed that the company’s new title is in fact a new IP.
Grubb made the comments during the latest Game Mess Mornings show, where he also said that Bluepoint Games’ in-development title could be revealed soon, although didn’t specify when. The fact Bluepoint is apparently working on a new IP is pretty big news, as the studio is known for its remasters and remakes; the only original title it released was 2006’s Blast Factor.

Bluepoint Games was acquired by Sony Interactive Entertainment back in September 2021, having previously worked on a number of projects for the hardware giant including Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, Shadow of the Colossus (2018), and of course the PS5 Demon’s Souls remake.
The developer stated over the summer that it is still working on its next project, which it described as an ‘original title.’
