NetherRealm Studios is reportedly working on Injustice 3 as its next major project, according to a pair of voice actors who have worked on previous worked on the franchise.
News comes from X user Brendan_Batman, who revealed that they were able to meet Superman voice actor George Newbern at Fan Expo, when they apparently confirmed the game’s existence. Specifically, Newbern revealed he’s working on Injustice 3 when responding to a comment about his work on MultiVersus.
Meanwhile, Phil LaMarr, who votes John Stewart and Aquaman in Injustice: Gods Among Us and Injustice 2, reportedly confirmed that Injustice 3 was in the pipeline when meeting X user DannySoulO. Keeping in mind that nothing official has been announced yet, but to hear the game’s confirmation from two major voice actors is definitely hard to ignore.

Chatter about a third entry in the Injustice 3 has been ongoing for years now, and it was initially believed the game would be the next project from NetherRealm following Mortal Kombat 11. This wasn’t the case however, as the studio instead launched Mortal Kombat 1.
In June 2023, Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon revealed that the door had not been closed on a new Injustice game, although wouldn’t go as far as to confirm that Injustice 3 will be next in line.
