Known horror leaker Dusk Golem has claimed in a new post on X that Born From A Wish is in the pipeline for Silent Hill 2 Remake, and what’s more, a PS5 Pro patch is also in the works that will likely be revealed as part of a larger announcement.
According to Golem, Bloober Team are working on bringing Silent Hill 2 Remake to Xbox Series X/S, with Born From A Wish set to be announced ‘sooner or later.’ Furthermore, he speculates that Konami is probably looking to tie its release in with the upcoming Return to Silent Hill film, which arrives in January 2026 and is based on Silent Hill 2.

Born From A Wish was originally released for the original version of Silent Hill 2 when it was ported to the Xbox, and was also included in the Director’s Cut version of the game on PS2. It follows Maria, a key character in the main game, as she questions her origins and purpose in events that take place prior to her meeting James Sunderland.
Silent Hill 2 Remake was originally released for PS5 and PC in October 2024, and completely overhauls the iconic 2001 psychological horror title using Unreal Engine 5. While the core narrative and classic locations remain in tact, Bloober Team has greatly expanded Silent Hill 2’s key environments and puzzles, some of which have been transformed into multi-tiered riddles that completely revamp the original puzzles.
