Danny Bilson, vice president of core games at THQ, has Twitter teased that an announcement pertaining to Saints Row 3 is ‘coming soon.’
Bilson dropped the news while responding to a fan question on the social networking site as to when we’d finally catch a glimpse of the hotly anticipated sequel.
“Big announcement coming soon,” he commented.
Of course, THQ’s promised a number of reveals dating back to 2010, with the game originally expected to show up at E3 last year, and later, the Spike Video Game Awards in December. Despite this, the sandbox romp failed to show its face at either event, with inSane instead taking the spotlight.
However, the company will be holding its Q3 earnings call later today, so it’s not entirely inconceivable that we’ll finally hear something on Saints Row 3 overnight.
