In a bid to complement the news that Volition is working on a Hell-bound standalone expansion to Saints Row IV, the developer has also announced that a remastered version of the fourth iteration will be hitting PS4 and Xbox One in January of next year.
Entitled: Saints Row IV: Re-Elected, the package features all of the game’s DLC, plus the standalone expansion of Gat out of Hell (in retail) and will set you back a cool $50. It’s a little confusing, we know, but at least developer Volition is giving some semblance of choice in the whole matter.
It’s not known, however, as to what visual improvements this edition will bring to the table, or indeed what other changes may be made, but we expect confirmation soon.
Saints Row IV: Re-Elected will be hitting up consoles on the same day as its standalone expansion counterpart – January 27 2015 – and is sure to enthral and shock in equal measure.
