Samson Is Officially Coming To Consoles In Fall 2026

Liquid Swords has officially confirmed that the console version of Samson is launching in Fall 2026, although an exact release date has not yet been locked down.

The news comes following details on the 2026 Roadmap for Samson, which includes details on an April 22 patch that will include the following additions:

  • Combat improvements
  • New car variants
  • Keyboard vehicle tuning updates
  • Adjustments to damage for players, NPCs, and vehicles
  • Walk button for keyboard
  • Time trial refinements
  • Performance optimizations
  • General bug fixes.

Liquid Swords also revealed that another update will arrive on April 29 and a fifth patch the following week. Here’s what the developer had to say:

Looking ahead, we’re especially excited about two upcoming content updates: The first one is set to launch in mid May, and will be focused on fresh content for combat. The second one comes mid June, and is vehicle focused. Finally, we know many of you have been asking about a console release. While we’re not ready to share a specific date yet, we can confirm that Samson is planned to launch on consoles this fall.

Samson follows the eponymous hero as he returns to the city that shaped him Tyndalston, where he owes a lot of dangerous people a lot of cash. However, his enemies are using Samson’s sister to force his hand, and with the clock ticking, he must battle his way through anyone and anything that stands in his way. You’ll use brutal melee combat against enemies, build Samson’s strength with brute force and weapons training, and use cars as weapons as you navigate sprawling city that never forgets, always shifting to your actions.
