Housemarque has revealed during Sony’s latest State of Play broadcast that Saros will receive a free update later this year that will add New Game Plus among other features designed to expand replayability.

SAROS™: Zenith adds Overlord Rush, a brand new mode where you can take on the powerful Overlord enemies from the main game back-to-back, go for a high score, and compete with players around the world using integrated leaderboards in a throwback to the classic arcade-style Housemarque is known for.
This update also brings “”Eclipse Layers””, a new game+ mode which allows seasoned enforcers to put their skills to the ultimate test. After clearing SAROS, players can return to the beginning and take on a more challenging version of the game. You can rise to meet these trials with even more progression options and new Carcosan Modifiers to customize your experience. There are also new secrets and trophies to discover as you delve deeper into the Eclipse Layers.
