Namco Bandai’s finally put a name on the mysterious female wrestler seen its latest Tekken Tag 2 trailer, confirming masked brawler’s known as JC.
According to Japanese mag Famitsu (via andriasang), JC utilizes an acrobatic form of wrestling that allows her to make use of her entire body. While her exact style wasn’t named, it’s likely she practises the art of Lucha Libre. No doubt she’ll go down a treat with fellow masked duo King and Armor King, then.
Elsewhere, the publication also confirms the return of familiar faces Jin Kazama, Jinpachi Mishima, Asuka Kazama, Marshall Law, Miguel and of course, a conspicuously younger looking Heihachi Mishima.
Tekken Tag 2 follows in the footsteps of its PS2 predecessor, with gamers picking two fighters for each brawl, switching between the two at will. New tag-based throws are also included, where both combatants join forces for one meaty, health-draining manoeuvre.
Namco’s pinned down a summer release for the game in Japanese arcades, with a western date yet to be decided.
