A White Day remake has appeared on Android and iOS in recent years, but the latest version has been remade specifically for PS4 with new mechanics, graphics, audio and even additions to the storyline.

ROI Games explains the story behind the name, White Day:

“Here in the East, White Day is the sister holiday to Valentine’s Day. Traditionally, on Valentine’s Day, girls give gifts to boys. One month later, on 14 March, those gifts are reciprocated as boys give gifts to girls as a sign of affection. Our game takes place on the eve of White Day, with our young protagonist sneaking into school to hide chocolates in the homeroom of a classmate he likes… only to find himself trapped in the building with dozens of bloodthirsty ghosts. Talk about unlucky in love!”

In White Day, players find themselves trapped overnight in a school and are chased by evil killers and ghosts. Like other great horror games on PS4, it features resource management, puzzles and plenty of exploration through dark corridors.

Reading one White Day review the words “the scariest game I have ever played” has sent shivers down our spine. Can’t wait!
