Tribute Games has slapped a March 3, 2026 release date on Scott Pilgrim EX for PS5, PS4, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One. The game will initially launch digitally with a physical edition following at a later date.
Set in Toronto in the year 20XX, Scott Pilgrim EX finds the city conquered by three rival gangs — the VEGANS, the ROBOTS, and the DEMONS. Furthermore, Scott’s bandmates have been kidnapped by shadow forces, kick-starting a brand new adventure where Scott, Ramona Flowers and others are playable characters in this retro-flavoured adventure-brawler. There’s seven characters in total to play as, each offering their own unique combat style.
Throughout the game you’ll battle new foes and take down bosses across interconnected stages, while Bryan Lee O’Mally has crafted a new narrative aimed to appeal to both newcomers and longtime fans. Players can battle solo or team with up to three other games locally or online, thanks to drop-in/drop-out co-op. You’ll also customise your character using hard-earned coins, kitting them out with special items and upgrading stats.
