Sega to show Bayonetta, Yakuza 3 at TGS

Sega has announced its software portfolio for the Tokyo Game Show next week. Although there aren’t any real surprises, there’s some impressive stuff on the cards.

For PlayStation 3, the publisher will be showcasing Yakuza 3 (nope, not the prequel), the Devil May Cry-ish Bayonetta, and Sonic Unleashed. All are strong contenders; the Yakuza games are a fantastic fusion of real-time brawling and open-world RPG, while Bayonetta comes to you courtesy of Capcom’s star-studded Platinum Games studio. Even the Blue Blur’s latest platform outing looks like it could be a laugh.

The PlayStation Portable isn’t quite as well-catered for, with Garnet Chronicle/Crimsongem Saga, Hatsune Miku: Project Diva and the already published Phantasy Star Portable on display. Still, there will be plenty at Level 5’s stand to compensate.
