It looks like Share Factory will be getting a new name on PS5, with the Share Factory Studio application being spotted on the new redesigned PlayStation Store for the Web.
This new app was spotted on the store and posted on ResetEra. And, although not much is knows about it right now, we can see from the image posted that the app can make use of the PlayStation Camera, likely for capturing yourself for videos. It will also use the Singstar Microphone, which presumably will allow you to voice narration and voice-overs, although the DualSense controller comes with its own microphone, which is newer. You can see the still image of the app below:
This new PlayStation Store will be launching in various countries over the week, popping up for different users at different times, so be sure to keep an eye out online for when your’s updates.
The PS5 releases on November 12, 2020, in the US and November 19, 2020, in the EU and UK.
