The latest Sherlock Homes game in Frogwares cult hit series, The Devil’s Daughter, looks to be adding a pinch of stealth and combat to proceedings if the latest trailer is anything to go by. Also, the world’s greatest detective who doesn’t own Wayne Enterprises has seemingly swapped out his dear Watson for a younger, sleeker model too.
The gameplay trailer features explosions, bottling (not the kind that Arsenal do in February/March time), sniper fire, brawls and sneaking. It’s a bit more Robert Downey Jr than Benedict Bandersnatch, but rest assured, when we recently previewed the game it was still very much in the vein of 2014’s Crimes and Punishment, which we enjoyed, despite some issues.
As previously mentioned, Watson has seemingly regenerated into an extra from Ripper Street between games, with him now looking younger and more trendy than before. Dig that mutton chop/mustache combo!
Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter will be out on PS4 June 10.
