Shuhei Yoshida Is Now A Digital Collectible On PlayStation Stars

The PlayStation Stars loyalty programme has added Sony indie boss Shuhei Yoshida to its swelling lineup of digital collectibles.

The former head of Sony Worldwide Studios, who is now fronting the format holder’s independent game offerings, is available as a bobblehead unlocked by completing one of six games that Yoshida-san recommends — A Space for the Unbound, Before Your Eyes, Cult of the Lamb, Neon White, Sifu, and The Knight Witch.

PlayStation Stars was released last year using the PlayStation App and is coming to consoles at an as-yet undisclosed date. Players are able to earn loyalty points and digital collectibles via PS Stars, with digital items displayed in a virtual case in the PS App, which your friends can view via PSN profiles.

Yoshida-san was honored with a BAFTA Fellowship during this year’s event on March 30.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with incredibly talented teams who’ve developed some of the best games in the industry. I’ve always celebrated alongside these developers as their games have received well-deserved awards – it is an amazing honour for me to receive an accolade of my own.

PlayStation Stars caused some controversy last October, when it was revealed that Level 4 members were given priority in regards to Sony customer support chat.
