Critically acclaimed side-scrolling platformer Adventures of Pip is making its way to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One later this year, and now we know when.
Priced at $15.00 on both systems, Adventures of Pip will be released in North America on PS4 on August 18 and will be followed by its release on Xbox One on August 21.
Adventures of Pip is a game that returns to the roots of classic side-scrolling platforming. Pip is a single pixel that lives in a 32-bit world. Pip fights enemies, solves puzzles, and interacts with the world by absorbing and expending pixels that are obtained through the course of the game. The more pixels you have, the more detailed and powerful Pip gets. The fewer pixels you have, the less detailed and weaker Pip gets. Pip can change between three forms, and each form has its own strengths and weaknesses. In order for Pip to save his village, players must learn to master these three forms and defeat the evil Queen DeRezzia.
After being funded through a Kickstarter campaign last year, Adventures of Pip has already seen release on Steam, Wii U, and iOS.
