Sigourney Weaver not involved with Ghostbusters game

Hollywood legend Sigourney Weaver has revealed that she will not be reprising her role as Dana Barrett in the forthcoming Ghostbusters: The Videogame.

Speaking to MTV News, Weaver confirmed that Atari had not approached her in regards to voicing Barrett in the project, though added she would consider taking part in a “high quality” game adaptation of the series.

“I’d be part of one that was high quality," commented Weaver. "I don’t think they even asked me to be a part of the [new] ‘Ghostbusters’ one. If they did I don’t remember it and maybe I was just busy."

The rest of the core line-up from the original Ghostbusters movie are all set to reprise their roles in the game, which hits current generation consoles next year.
