Silent Hill 2 Remake Dev Is ‘Very Confident’ With The Final Version Of The Game

Bloober Team has revealed that it is ‘very confident’ in the final version of the highly anticipated Silent Hill 2 Remake, which still hasn’t got a concrete release date 18 months after its initial reveal.

The studio reportedly made the comments during its annual report, where it it said it’s “very confident about the final result. We don’t hide it internally or externally — this is the most important test of our actions.”

Silent Hill 2 Remake was announced in October 2022 as part of Konami’s Silent Hill Transmission, where it announced a slew of other projects to revive the series. According to Jeff Grubb, Silent Hill 2 Remake will be featured in a new PlayStation event next month, and Bloober Team’s CEO recently said that the game’s release date will be confirmed soon.

The original Silent Hill 2 was released for the PS2 in 2001 and follows James Sunderland as he travels to the foggy town after receiving a letter from his deceased wife, Mary.
