Sony Interactive Entertainment unveiled a new Silent Hill 2 Remake trailer during its State of Play event today.
Silent Hill 2 Remake is a full-blown overhaul of the original 2001 psychological horror title developed by Team Silent for PS2 and Xbox. Once again, players step into the role of James Sunderland as he ventures to the perpetually foggy town after receiving a letter from Mary, his wife who passed away three years ago.
Upon arriving in town, James finds that the town is all but deserted, save for a few people who have also been drawn to Silent Hill, and is populated by grotesque creatures. Players must explore the town solving brain-aching riddles along the way while attempting to get to the bottom of the mysteries of Silent Hill and the truth behind what happened to Mary.
