Konami has announced that Silent Hill: Book of Memories will launch exclusively for PlayStation Vita in Europe on November 2, 2012.
The handheld horror title is being developed by WayForward, and introduces multiplayer to the series for the first time in its 13-year history.
Story-wise this new Silent Hill focuses on the Book of Memories, a mysterious object which is able to change the past. Set from top-down perspective, the game sees players battling against a variety of creatures while solving puzzles in order to access new areas.
Teaming up with other players meanwhile allows you to share items with each other, as well as work together to overcome riddles and vanquish hulking boss creatures.
