Limited Run Games has announced that it will be offering a $69.99 physical release for Silent Hill: The Short Message. The sting here is that the game was originally available digitally for free, so you’re going to be forking out a lot of money if you want the game on your shelf.
Preorders for Silent Hill: The Short Message begin on July 10, 2026 and it’s a Deluxe Edition that features a copy of the game, a set of art cards including Maya’s graffiti art and sketches, art poster, Skara Acrylic Keychain, and individually numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
Silent Hill: The Short Message was released prior to the Silent Hill 2 Remake, and follows a young woman, Anita, as she investigates a crumbling apartment block that is infamous for rumours of suicides. Upon arriving, she is faced with otherworldly spaces and is stalked by a twisted creature, while attempting to uncover the meaning behind her friend Maya’s mysterious message — “can’t leave til you find it.”
Konami announced in February 2024 that Silent Hill: The Short Message had reached over one million downloads.
