For the first time ever, PlayStation Trophies earned in a game will equate to actual items — well, actual fake items, that is.
Let’s rephrase: the new SingStar Trophies will earn you rewards in PlayStation Home, Sony’s 3D social application. The Trophies that will net you Home goodies are:
– Super Singer Bronze (score over 9000 on 5 different songs on easy)
– Window Shopper (visit the SingStore)
– Chatterboxes (post a single comment on another player’s profile page)
– It’s Good To Share (upload a piece of media of any type to SingStar Online)
We’re not quite sure what the rewards are, so if you earn one be sure to let everyone know in the comment section below.
UPDATE: Alas, the readers seem to know more about this than us. Apparently this is not a first, as RE5 and SFIV already offer this functionality in a similar fashion. Still, it’s a cool and appreciated feature nonetheless.
