Time travel is a fickle thing. Unsurprisingly, a lot of the time it goes wrong. Very wrong.
Introducing Singularity, Raven Software’s new first-person action game. Unveiled at Activision’s E3 2008 press conference, the game wrestles with the general preconceived notion of time as a straightforward entity. When you deviate from that linear path however, things become unstable.
Regarding setting, the game is clearly takes place in Russia, as evidenced by the Soviet flags and the Kyrillian lettering in the logo at the end. Visually, the game looks fairly similar to the grays and browns of Dark Sector and TimeShift. That’s about all that can be grasped from the game’s unveiling and debut trailer, which can be seen below.
