SEGA has announced that Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds will be receiving the PAC-MAN Pack on January 7, 2026. This follows on from the recently-released NiGHTS content, which arrived on Christmas Eve 2025.
This latest batch of content for the racing will see the iconic ghost-chomper join the fray as a playable character, while the PAC-MAN Festival will kick off on January 8 and runs until January 11. You won’t need to own the PAC-MAN Pack to participate in the festival, however.
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds launched for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One in September 2025, with a Nintendo Switch 2 version arriving in December. Developed by Sonic Team, this lates entry in the Blue Blur’s racing spinoff franchise features the largest lineup of characters in a Sonic racing title to date, although unlike Team Sonic Racing, it doesn’t focus on cooperative play. There’s still a large emphasis on drifting however, with 24 tracks to select from and over 70 unlock able gadgets.
