Days Gone developer Sony Bend is reportedly beavering away on a ‘AAA live service’ game for its long-awaited next project.
Word comes from a job listing for a lead project manager at the company, which reveals they’re looking for someone with “hands on game development experience in leadership roles shipping AAA live service games.” Experience in “redefining studios from traditional ‘boxed product’ focussed game development into live service development studios in a key leadership role” as key experience.

Sony Bend has been keeping its cards close to its chest in regards to its new project, although back in January the company simply tweeted “we cooking” in regards to how it’s progressing. Turn back the clocks to November 2023, and it was reported that the new IP would launch in 2025, so hopefully it won’t be too long until we get some details.
Last year was a huge milestone for Sony Bend as it celebrated its 30th anniversary.
