Sony has confirmed that first-party PlayStation 4 titles will retail for $59.99.
Speaking with Shack News, the company said, “We have announced the pricing for our first party line-up of PS4 launch and launch window games. All four titles, Killzone: Shadow Fall, DriveClub, Knack and inFamous Second Son are all $59.99.”
No word yet on pricing for the European market, though we expect to hear something soon enough.
Sony’s pricing strategy for the U.S. falls in line with Microsoft’s own efforts for Xbox One, with first-party titles for that system also retailing for $59.99.
