Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) has confirmed that its E3 2017 press conference will take place on Monday, June 12 in Los Angeles at 6.00pm PST.
The format holder confirmed the details during a series of invites sent out to press, among which includes Geoff Keighley, who posted a shot of his invitation on Twitter. Unfortunately, the timing once again means that those in the U.K. will have to stay up until 2.00am on the morning of June 13, as the presser is taking place late in the day in the U.S.
Details on what Sony is planning on showcasing are being kept under wraps at present, although it’s expected we’ll get another look at the likes of God of War, Days Gone, Detroit: Become Human, and Spider-Man. Third-party studios will also likely showcase some of their big hitters, possibly Call of Duty: WW2, Star Wars Battlefront 2, and more. We’d like to see a few surprises in there too, like Resident Evil 2 Remake, the new Assassin’s Creed, and a few others, but we’ll have to wait and see.
As for the competition, Microsoft will be hosting its press conference on Sunday, which is the same day that Bethesda will be presenting its latest titles too.
