Sony’s first-party studios are inevitably beavering away on a bevy of PlayStation 4-exclusive titles as we speak, but one game in particular has got Ubisoft rather hot under the collar.
Writing on Twitter, the publishing giant’s U.K. events guru, Sunny Sanghera, made it clear he’s pretty impressed about the mystery title, as you can see below.
I saw a Sony first party #PS4 game today which is still in development. My reaction literally was… pic.twitter.com/rZhArLh5mH

Of course, we don’t know just what game it was that Sanghera saw in action. It could be something we already know about (Gran Turismo Sport, Horizon: Zero Dawn) or a game that has yet to see a public reveal. A new God of War perhaps? Sony Bend’s new project? Hell, even The Last of Us 2? For now, we’ll just have to keep guessing.
As for Ubisoft’s immediate plans, the company is undoubtedly gearing up for a Watch Dogs 2 reveal, with the game due to arrive at some point in 2017. It also has a new Ghost Recon game in the works, which takes the series into open-world territory for the first time.
Assassin’s Creed is taking a year off however, with rumors suggesting Ubisoft is taking the franchise to ancient Egypt for its next outing.
