Sony Interactive Entertainment has been crowned by Metacritic as its best publisher of 2022, with the PlayStation console maker managing to fend off competition from the likes of Paradox Interactive, Activision Blizzard, and Focus Entertainment.
Metacritic’s number crunching found that Sony’s releases across last year, which includes PS4, PS5, and PC, averaged a score of 85.6. This includes the likes of Horizon Forbidden West, Gran Turismo 7, God of War Ragnaork, The Last of Us Part I, Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, plus PC ports of God of War, Marvel’s Spider-Man, and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
MLB The Show 22 was the worst-rated Sony-published game of 2022 with 77, although that’s still a solid score all the same. So, overall, Sony had a fantastic 2022 in regards to game ratings.
