Sony Is Reportedly Feeling ‘Very Positive’ About Live Service Title Fairgame$ Despite Concord Flop

Despite Sony pulling Concord offline this week following the game’s lacklustre launch, the format holder is reportedly feeling ‘very positive’ about its next live service effort, the Haven Studios-developed Fairgame$.

In case you’re out of the loop, Concord launched in late August but failed to make waves on PS5 and PC, with review scores coming in pretty tepid and the game struggling to find much of an audience. As a result, Sony is taking it down on Friday and issuing refunds.

However, Christopher Dring of GamesIndustry.biz said on the Microcast podcast that he’s “heard good things about Jade Raymond‘s game,” and that Sony is pretty bullish about it all.

“I know people are a bit sceptical about it, but I’ve heard that internal chatter is very positive about it,” he said, adding that Fairgame$ is likely one of the live service titles that Sony is really “focusing on” to “support and try and make work.”\

Fairgame$ seems to focus on three players taking part in a sci-fi heist against a bunch of super corporations, and has a bit of a Watch Dogs vibe to it despite being a multiplayer title.
