Sony has revealed exactly how much space gamer will need to free up in order to play PlayStation VR.
According to a document that has found its way onto Reddit, the format holder recommends that players set up in a three by 1.9 metre play area when using the upcoming virtual reality gaming headset.
"Limit your use of PS VR to within the Play Area," said the company. "The height of the Play Area depends on the range captured by the camera. Clear an area larger than the Play Area of all obstacles before using PS VR and remain seated whenever possible. If an application requires you to stand while wearing, the VR headset, follow the application instructions carefully, and maintain awareness of your surroundings".

Sony announce during its E3 2016 presentation that PS VR will be hitting the U.S. and Europe on October 13, 2016. The hardware giant confirmed that it is aiming to have around 50 titles out for the device by the end of the year, and said that over 200 developers are currently working on titles for the headset.
Shuhei Yoshida, head of Sony’s Worldwide Studios, revealed this week that all PS VR games will function with standard PS4 consoles in light of the announcement of the PS4 Neo. Sony noted that PlayStation Move may be required in order to play some titles, however.
Among the titles confirmed to utilise PS VR so far include Ace Combat 7, Dreams, Gran Turismo Sport, Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, and Tekken 7. DriveClub VR is the latest game to be confirmed for the device.
