PlayStation Network has 119 million monthly active users as of September 30, 2025, Sony Interactive Entertainment announced during its latest financial report overnight.
This figure represents an increase of three million over the same period last year, although it’s worth noting that monthly active users for PSN does fluctuate on a yearly basis. Still, it’s clear that users are continuing to engage on PSN as the PS5 enters its fifth year on the market.

Speaking of PS5, as previously reported Sony stated that the console has now shipped 84.2 million units worldwide following its launch in November 2020. In addition, Ghost of Yotei, the major PS5-exclusive from Sucker Punch Productions, has moved 3.3 million copies in just one month.
