Bonnie Jean Mah has revealed on Twitter that she has been hired as the new narrative director for God of War developer Sony Santa Monica Studio.
Her credits include serving as franchise narrative director on the Gears of War franchise, as well as narrative lead for Age of Empires IV, so Jean Mah has plenty of experience when it comes to this type of role. Right now there’s no word on what Sony Santa Monica has up its sleeves next, so we’ll just have to wait and see.
Back in May 2023, Raf Grassetti, studio art director for Sony Santa Monica Studio, has revealed that he was leaving the company after more than a decade with the company.
Rumours have been doing the rounds lately however claiming that God of War Ragnarok DLC is in the pipeline at the developer, and will be announced before the end of the year. Since we’re coming towards the end of November now, the Game Awards 2023 seems likely the most likely venue for a reveal.
