Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. (SCEI) today unleashed a new trailer highlighting its PlayStation 4 holiday 2015 lineup, boasting that the ‘best games are on PS4.’ See it for yourself below.
PS4’s major titles for the fall/holiday season include Tearaway Unfolded, Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, plus third-party offerings including Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, Star Wars Battlefront, Call of Duty: Black Ops III, and Fallout 4. In addition, there are also rumors that Sony is about to drop the price of its flagship console for U.K. and Europe at some point this month, following similar moves in the U.S. and Japan. With Paris Games Week coming up, we won’t have to wait long to find out.
Looking ahead to 2016, Sony will no doubt provide plenty of teasers at its annual PlayStation Experience event in December, which takes place in San Francisco. 2015 has been another solid year for the PS4, with shipments reaching 25.3 milion units worldwide, keeping Sony firmly in pole position in the current-generation hardware battle against Microsoft and Nintendo. In fact, the console has such a lead over Xbox One that even Microsoft’s Phil Spencer admitted that it may not catch up to Sony’s machine.
Just recently, a member of the Star Wars Battlefront and Battlefield 4 development team stated his belief that Xbox One is trailing behind its lead rival as it’s not as powerful.
